Shannon Herber is on a mission to introduce more artists in all genres to the ways in which web3 & NFTs can enhance their connection to fans, build communities and provide passive revenue streams. In her current role as Managing Director for Steve Aoki’s “A0K1VERSE” NFT project, she partners with some of the biggest creators in the NFT space after almost 20 years of doing the same in the music industry. She was named one of Shesaid.so’s Alternative Power 100 Music List in 2019 and is a Global Advisory Board Member for UK-based arts non-profit In Place of War, as well as a Board Member for US-based music non-profit Femme House. Previously, she served as Head of Pop & Dance/Electronic Music at The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs), Director of Operations/Tour Manager for the artist Moby and Manager, Publicity & Artist Relations at Universal Music Group. In her spare time she loves seeing live music, snorkeling and collecting passport stamps through as many international adventures as possible.
