Amanda M. Bruno

Amanda M. Bruno serves as the global Chief Business Development officer at Morgan Lewis and works with the Chair of the firm and its senior leadership to develop and execute strategic client engagement initiatives. In her role, Amanda leads the Business Development team with a focus on expanding the firm’s business and reputation while identifying opportunities across industries, practices, and geographies. Amanda also manages the firm’s 12 industry teams, alumni relations program and client service programs, including, among other things, the Client Alliance Program (CAP), Client Feedback Program, Partner Business Development Program, Global Collaboration Challenge, and Relationship Firms Portal. Amanda joined Morgan Lewis in 2004 as an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group before moving into client service and business development roles. She has experience building a robust network of contacts from both the perspective of a lawyer growing a book of business, and as a senior business professional. At the outset of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Amanda created and implemented new business development training programs focused on helping lawyers strategically redirect their BD efforts to strengthen, maintain, and foster client relationships in a virtual work environment. She also conducted regular client feedback meetings and developed action plans to ensure client expectations were met during this challenging time. Amanda continues to work individually and in group settings with lawyers now pivoting into a hybrid workplace environment to successfully execute business development strategies.
